Cathleen J. Beardall Sailors, age 63, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She resided at 739 East 200 North in Price, Utah at the time of her death.

She was born May 24, 1946 in Springville to George Ross and Effa Shakespear Beardall.

Cathy was a resident of Carbon County since 1969, where she made many wonderful friends over the years. In 1977, she graduated from the College of Eastern Utah and later went to work at Castleview Hospital for nine years. For the past 23 years she worked at Castle Country Care Center in Price where she touched many patients, co-workers, doctors and families over the years.

Cathy loved her job and her pleasant smile could brighten anyone's day regardless what time it was. She was a very proud, dedicated, hard worker who was well liked by her co-workers and the many patients that she cared for.

Cathy loved to spend time with her family, especially fishing, camping and hunting in the mountains near Joe's Valley. Cathy was a true fighter until the end and she will be missed by all.
