Ethel Louise Goodson, 87, a resident of Marbury, Alabama died peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from Marbury Church of God at 2:00 p.m. with burial following in Prattville Memory Gardens, Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Goodson will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Allen Goodson; great grandson, Cody Matthews. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Hunter, Marilyn Nance, Richard Holloman (Mary Lou), Randall Goodson (Laina); eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goodson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her family and made her family her life
