WILLIAM ALLBRIGHT

William Elbert Allbright, 67, of Bloomington, died of a heart attack Friday morning, February 21, in the Bloomington Hospital.

He and his wife, Mabel, had just moved to Bloomington from Brown County two weeks ago after purchasing a home there. They had lived in Brown County 17 years, and prior to that, in Bloomington. Mr. Allbright was a native of Putnam County, born July 13, 1896, to Manford and Lucy McCoy Allbright.

He was a retired carpenter and a member of the local carpenter's union No. 1664.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Richard of Bloomington; a daughter, Mrs. Irma Seitz of Salmon Trailer Towne; a stepson, Lee Simon of Indianapolis; a brother, Eugene of Whitehall Pike; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Hamrose of Bloomington and Mrs. Violet Thomas of Nashville; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Clover Hill Cemetery at Harrodsburg.
