OBITUARY OF J. W. MOUNTS

Funeral Services for J. W. MOUNTS, a resident of Beaver County for over 30 years, were held Monday afternoon in the First Baptist Church. Mr. MOUNTS died Thursday while enroute from his home near Gray to a Beaver hospital. He was 75 years of age.

Rev. O. C. Curtis conducted the final rites.

Mr. and Mrs. MOUNTS had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 08, 1948. They were married in New London, Missouri, on February 06, 1908 and left Missouri in 1915 to go to Alva, Oklahoma. They then moved to a farm near Gray, where they made their home since that time.

Eight children were born to this union, six sons and two daughters. One son, Sam MOUNTS died November 05, 1942.

The survivors include the wife, Annie; five sons, Clarence, Charley and William, all of Gray, Kenneth and John E., both of Perryton; two daughters, Mrs. John RIETWELD, Chicago and Mrs. Carl DELANO of Dove Creek, Colorado; seven grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.

Pallbearers at the funeral were Delbert DAVIS, Keith McLAIN, Earl GLASGOW, C. C. BULL, Edd PADGETT and F. L. GERARD.

Masonic Services were conducted at the graveside by members of the Ochiltree Lodge.
