Katie Frank Terry Allen

Funeral for Katie Frank Terry Allen, 86, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at First Holy Church of Christ with Wallace Fuller and Wendell Thrasher officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen died at her daughter's home Friday, March 5, 1999.

She was born June 16, 1912, in Lawrence County to Fred and Lucy Terry. She was a former resident of Austinville for 50 years, and was recently living with Sharon and Joey Chittam in Priceville. She was a member of First Holy Church of Christ. She was the widow of Benton Allen and the mother of the late Tommie Hill.

She is survived by two sons, Cecil Allen and Buford Allen, both of Hartselle; five daughters, Faye Haggermaker and Sue Pepper, both of Hartselle, Mae Huckaby of Somerville, Lucille Hilley of Birmingham and Marie Davis of Orlando, Fla; one sister, Louise Brock of Moulton; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Noble, Joey Chittam, Mike Haggermaker, David Hill, Shane Kimbrell, Rick McGee, Chris Huckaby and Junior Allen.
