Sidney Carberry of Stonerstown, near Saxton, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Clayton Cornell, Saxton R. D., on August 10, 1943. He was born in Fulton County on August 26, 1875, the son of John Carberry and Mary E.(Wagner) Carberry, both of whom are deceased. At time death he was aged 67 years. Surviving are the following children: Homer L. Carberry and Mrs. Clayton Cornell, both of Saxton; Oscar E. Carberry, United States Army, now in Africa; and Owen D. Carberry, who is with the United States Army in California. Mr. Carberry's wife, Mrs. Iva (Davis) Carberry, is deceased. Mr. Carberry followed various occupations connected with coal mining until his retirement about five years ago.
