THOMAS BERRETT

NORTH OGDEN- Thomas Francis Berrett,75 of 2350 N. 600 east St., died yesterday at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Berrett had worked a farmer. He had lived in North Ogden most of his life, with the exception of two years in Garland in Tremonton. He was a member of the LDS North Ogden Second Ward and a high priest in the Ben Lomond Stake. He was a former member of the ward finance committee.

He was born April 13, 1882 in Salt Lake City, a son of Richard T. and Annie Elizabeth Toone Berrrett. On May 7, 1902, he married Harriet L. Brown in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

Surviving are his widow, four sons and three daughters, Donald T. and Grant E. Berrett, North Ogden; Maurice A. Berrett, Taylor; Mark R. Berrett, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. F. James (Norma) Garner, Wilson; Mrs. Henry (Myrtle) Maathuis, Ogden, Mrs. Gerald A. (Doris) Wright, Downey, Calif.; 20 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Orson T. Berrett, Roy; Earl R. Berrett, Salt Lake City; Mrs. John Blaylock, Ogden; Mrs. George A. Lyon, Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the LDS North Ogden Second Ward by Bishop Lowell Cutler. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel tomorrow from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and at the home of Donald T. Berrett, 2310 N. 600 East St., Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Burial in North Ogden Cemetery.
