SUBLIMITY
Grace M. Ditter, 88, of Sublimity, died Thursday.
She was born in Sublimitv and was a lifetime resident. She was a member of the pioneer family of Charles Hottinger.
A teacher for 14 years, she taught in various schools, including Fern Ridge, Oak Grove, Triumph and Rocky Point, and with her husband, Eugene A., owned and operated the Ditter Store. She served as district chairwoman for the American Red Cross during World War II, was a correspondent for the Stayton Mail, Stayton, and The Oregon Statesman and Capital Journal newspapers in Salem, and was a member of the American Legion and the Santiam Hospital auxiliaries.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene A.; son, Delbert, Sublimity; daughters, Patricia Erwert, Woodburn, and Mary Jean Culver, Salem; brother, Fred Hottinger, Stayton; and sisters, Teresa VanLoo, Blue River, and Rose Bell, Stayton.
Services are pending at Weddle mortuary, Stayton.
Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

SUBLIMITY - Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, both in St. Boniface Catholic Church, for Grace M. Ditter, 88, of Sublimity, who died Thursday.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Weddle mortuary, Stayton.
