Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 2, at First Lutheran Church in Blair.
Ronald R. Jensen was born August 25, 1922, in Blair to William C. and Lillie (Christensen) Jensen. He lived and farmed in Blair all his life.
On October 5, 1947, he married Gloria Thompson at First Lutheran Church in Blair.
Mr. Jensen worked for the Washington County Weed Department for 53 years and was Weed Superintendent for 36 years.
He served in the United States Air Force for 4 1/2 years as an airplane mechanic.
Mr. Jensen was a devoted husband and wonderful family man. He loved building things for his sons and spending time with his family. He enjoyed going to his sons' auctions.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gloria; sons and daughters-in-law, William and Donna Jensen; Tom and Peggy Jensen, John and Debbie Jensen, Paul and Shelly Jensen and Philip and Patty Jensen; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Jensen and a sister, Darlene Jensen.
