Relatives in this vicinity received the news Sunday of the death of Walter T. Campbell, which occurred at his home near Genoa Sunday morning as the result of a heart attack. He passed away suddenly while doing chores Sunday morning. After being missed by Mrs. Campbell she found him in the granary where he had gone to scoop up some grain. (Funeral details followed)

Walter T. Campbell was born at Palmer, Nebraska, January 8, 1880 and departed this life December 17, 1939 near Genoa, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 9 days.

He was married to Mable Adams July 31, 1901. Mable preceded him in death June 28, 1911.

He was married to Lena Glause at Burwell, Nebr., December 24, 1914. One child, Mahala, was born to this union.

Walter leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, Lena, one daughter Mahala and three grandchildren. Also his brothers and sisters; Silas of Merino, Colorado; Leander, Prior, Homer and Orlando of Palmer, Neb., Robert of Central City, Mrs. Ruby Ross of Cushing, and Mrs. Francina Nicholas of Central City. His two older sisters, Sabina and Mahala preceded him in death. A host of nephews, nieces and friends will long remember him as a neighbor, friend and relative. He was well known over a large area in this part of Nebraska.

He obeyed the Gospel, being added to the Palmer Church of Christ in early manhood.
