She is preceded in death by, her parents, her husband Edward Steadman, two grandchildren Cliff Jr. and Michael Jr., one great-grandchild Kile, and five siblings Lynn Gaither, Evelyn Brown, Grace Bayless, Alvin Gaither and Leonard Gaither.
She is survived by,
three (3) children James “Cliff” Clifford (Janet) Thomas, Michael “Mickey” Wayne (Loreen) Thomas and Paula June (Don) Lucas,
four (4) grandchildren Michelle, Walter, D.J. and Jonathan,
eighteen (18) great-grandchildren,
seventeen and counting (17+) great-great-grandchildren,
along with many other family and friends.
Martha owned The Maples Bar and Grill in House Springs for 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, and going to the boat to gamble. Martha was known for shoe shopping as well as loving to travel and fish when she could. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation Monday, April 1, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Tuesday, April 2, 2019 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri with the interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
