Dick Colvin - Tekoa, Wash.

Service for Dick Colvin, 96, is planned for 11 a.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.

Mr. Colvin, who was born in Bagnell, Mo., died Monday.

He lived in the Clayton, Wash., area from 1948 to 1966 and in Spokane from 1966 to 1976. From 1976 to 1992 he lived in St. John, Wash., and moved to Tekoa in 1992.

He worked as a farmer, dairyman and millwright and was a Grange member.

His wife, Ethel Colvin, died in 1994.

He is survived by two sons, Bill Colvin of Spokane and Jim Colvin of Portland; a sister, Nellie LaPrairie of Jefferson City, Mo.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tekoa Care Center.
