Mrs. Zugschwerdt was born July 26, 1872, in Lanark, the daughter of Henry and Katherine Miller. She moved to Chadwick in 1900 and was a clerk in the Humbert-Zugschwerdt store. She married Frank Zugschwerdt Sept. 20, 1904, in Chadwick.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Werner, Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. W.E. Cardiff, Galva; and Mrs. Arthur Miller, Chadwick; three sisters, Rose Miller and Mrs. H.B. Rahn, both of Lanark; and Mrs. D.W. Harrington, Sunnyside, Wash.; a brother, Albert Miller, Selma, Cal.; and four grandsons.
