Funeral services for Harry D. Howard, 90, long-time resident of Manville, were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Manville Community Church with J. Wesley Libb officiating. Burial was in the Manville Cemetery.

Mr. Howard died at his home in Manville suddenly last Wednesday morning. He had not previously been ill.

The Rev. Ed Poser and Mrs. J. W. Libb sang, "Sweet Will of God" and "It is Well With My Soul". They were accompanied by Mrs. Con Showalter.

Pallbearers were: Louis Bowen, Al Knudsen, Alvin Alexander, Paul Sullivan, Art Rathbun and Marion Rasmussen.

Honorary pallbearers were: Walter Vanhorn, Lee Stoddard, Orville Dryer and Zeb Ward.

Harry Delos Howard was born at Chenoa, Ill. December 31, 1873 the son of Bradford and Rebecca Howard. At an early age he moved with his parents to Nebraska where he grew to manhood. September 18, 1901 he and Miss Neletta Pettet were married at her home in Chicago. They made their home in Lusk following the wedding and lived here until 1904 when they moved back to Nebraska, first to Fairfield and later to Atkinson.

In 1918 the family returned to Wyoming and have lived at Manville since that time. As a young man he joined the Baptist Church and at the time of his death he was a member of the Manville Community Church. For a number of years he taught music and directed choirs in addition to operating his jewelry business. He kept constantly at work at his trade until a few days before his death. His favorite pastime was playing checkers and his subtle humor and his gentle nature made him a favorite in the community.

He is survived by his wife, Neletta; three daughters, Mrs. Murrin Keenan of Pine Bluffs, Mrs. Emma Richardson of Manville and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro of Lusk; two sons, Ross Howard of Cheyenne and Robert Howard of Redlands, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild
