They had 12 children together: William Benjamin 'Bill' Johnson, Lucy Johnson, James Jay Johnson, Roan Lanier Johnson, Roxie Annie Johnson, Mosel 'Zellie' Johnson, Neta Johnson, Joseph 'Henry' Johnson, John R Johnson, Mattie Lee Johnson, Laura Jane Johnson (my grandmother) and Carrie Mae Johnson.
Joseph, Eveline and their family had a farm off Johnson Grove Church Road. The farm was handed down to their son Joseph Henry Johnson and he farmed it for many years. After Henry's death the old homestead burned and the property was eventually sold.∼
