Married, 2nd, Nellie Susan Frances (Pardue) Spears on May 27, 1950. No children.

J. C. Beckham Adams, 71, died Sunday, March 2, in his home at R.3, Morgantown.

A retired carpenter for B. F. Adams Construction, Adams moved from Indianapolis to Brown County and has lived here for 14 years.

His widow Nellie (Spears) survives.

Other survivors include 4 sons: Alva, Morgantown, Arthur, Indianapolis, Leroy, Indianapolis, and Raymond, Indianapolis.

Also are two daughters; Mrs. Mary Lou Logsdon, Indianapolis and Gladys Gallagher, Kirkland.

He has three brothers: Joe Adams, Carrollton, Kentucky, Hubert Adams, Carrollton, Kentucky, and Everett Adams, Beech Grove, and one sister, Daisy, New York.

Adams was born in Carroll County, Kentucky, August 3, 1903 to Henry and Fanny Adams, both deceased.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today, March 5, at the Clark Funeral Home with burial at the East Hill Cemetery.
