J. M. Culverhouse

Jerry M. Culverhouse, 92-year-old Ringgold resident, died at his home Tuesday after an illness of several years. Rites were pending the arrival of relatives from out-of-town.
A retired farmer, Mr. Culverhouse had been a life long resident of Ringgold. He was a native of Fryeburg.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Phennie Martin, Mrs. Ruthie Woodward and Mrs. Eula McGraw, all of Ringgold; Mrs. Ella Griffin, Miss Ida Culverhouse, Mrs. Suzie Herrington and Mrs. Viola Stevens, all of Heflin and Mrs. Neta Griffith of Natchitoches, two sons, Tyler and Allen Culverhouse, both of Heflin; 59 grandchildren, 127 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Rites will be under direction of Conger Funeral Home.
