Hold Last Rites For Henry Thede In North Dakota

New Holstein, Wis. -- Funeral services were conducted Monday at Covalier, North Dakota, for Henry Thede, aged 77, who passed away March 26 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Freiheit, in Olympia, Wash.
Deceased was born -May 14, 1862, in New Holstein the son of Mr. and Mrs. Juergen Thede.
On February 3, 1887, he was married to Miss Tina Drews of this city. The couple lived at Covalier, North Dakota, where Mrs. Thede passed away in 1904.
On November 14, 1908, he was married to Miss Minnie Freihetit of Covalier. After her death in 1920, Mr. Thede made his home with his children and his brother in this city.
Survivors include six children, Mrs. R. Freiheit of Olympia, Mrs. Ella Uhl of Covalier, Mrs. Louise Case and Mrs. Clara Thill in Canada, Earl Thede of Olympia, and Mrs. Charles Schmeisser of Chilton, and several grandchildren. Two brothers, George, Sr., and Jac Thede of this city also survive.
Mrs. Schmeisser went to Covalier to attend the services.
