Almira Frances Walker Dies
Almira France Walker was born in Hudson township, Macon county, January 1, 1853, and passed away at her home February 20, 1934, at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 20 days.
She was the daughter of Janette D. Baker and Felix Baker.
She became a member of the Belleview Methodist church at an early age.
She was united in marriage to William P. Walker September 22, 1880. To this union four children were born, Ernest of near Bethlehem; Wilbur, living near her home, Mrs. John Gullet of Agency, Iowa, and Mrs. Herbert Amick of near Jacksonville.
She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, her four children, 10 grandchildren, a number of relative and friends. Her pleasant disposition will long be remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem Methodist Church at 2:00 o'clock p. m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 1834. The Rev. L. C. Maggart, of Shelbina, was in charge.
Burial was in Bethlehem cemetery.
