Rites Today for Walter Higgason
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. from the Anderson's Home for Funerals in Iowa Falls for Walter Bruce Higgason, a former Eldora and Union resident who passed away at the Long Nursing Home in Iowa Falls Sunday morning following a lingering illness. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery near Union.
Walter Bruce Higgason was born May 30, 1885, at Freemont, Ia. Survivors include Mrs. Higgason of Eldora; eight children, Orville and Max Higgason of Eldora, Mrs. Dean (Avonelle) Rash of Union, Mrs. C.W. (Frances) Meyer of Los Angeles, Calif., Wallace Higgason of West Bend, Ia., Mrs. Howard (Arlene) Bitters of Iowa Falls, Wm. Higgason of Sunland, Calif., and Mrs. James (Bettie) Dix of New Hartford; and two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Ruxton of Zearing and Mrs. Hazel Seubert of Sioux Falls, S.D.
