Wyoming Post-Herald, Wyoming, Ill., Aug, 17, 1927:

The sad news of the death of Mrs. Mary Heath, who for nearly thirty years lived in the vicinity of Wyoming, has reached here.

Mary A. Hanchett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Hanchett, was born October 5, 1852, near Wyoming, where she lived for nearly thirty years. After leaving Wyoming she was united in marriage with Mr. Heath, and they made their home in Iowa and Idaho. Ten children were born to this union, four of whom, with the father, preceded Mrs. Heath in death.

About three years ago Mrs. Heath visited with relatives in this vicinity and near Castleton.

The past two-years Mrs. Heath made her home with her son, Jimmy Heath, at Lincoln, Nebr., where she died on August 12, 1927, at 12 o’clock. No particulars of her death have been received by relatives here.

She is survived by six children: Mrs. Myrtle Townsend of Ottawa, Illinois; Jimmy Heath of Lincoln, Nebr.; Mrs. Musetta Fate of Idaho; Forrest Heath of Sioux City, Iowa; Darrow Heath of Lincoln, Nebr., and Daisy Heath of Coffeevllle, Kansas.

The funeral services were held at the home of the deceased and the body will arrive here Thursday on the morning train and burial will be made in the Wyoming cemetery.

W. L. Hanchett of Kewanee, a brother of Mrs. Heath, was in town Monday and Mrs. Myrtle Townsend of Ottawa came Sunday evening and is staying at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Oscar Leadley and family.
