Died, at her home near Hopewell, on July 20, 1898, Mrs. Jemirah E. Forshee, aged 31 years, 5 months and 8 days.- Her body was laid to rest in the Rock Spring cemetery the following day, the funeral being attended by many friends and neighbors. Mrs. Forshee was born Feb. 12, 1867, and in October 1883, was converted and united with the Methodist Church the same year.
She was regarded by all as one of the most faithful and consistent members of the Rock Spring church. Her faith increased in strength and her hope in the fullness of assurance as she approached her earthly end. She was the last of several daughters of a family of eight. Her husband and three children, father and- mother, and one brother survive her, who have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
