Hughetta was united in marriage to John Minks, Jr. and to Austin McClendon, they both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving and devoted family, one daughter, Roxanne Viviano of Florissant, Missouri; one son, John Minks and wife Rhonda of Potosi, Missouri; two sisters, Jessie Hale of Springfield, Missouri and Galena Wollesen and husband Bob of Old Mines, Missouri; five grandchildren, Hugh Scott, Tracy, Roxanna, Samantha and Ty; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Austin and by many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Deion Thomas; one brother Hugh Boyer, Jr., and two sisters, Marie Briix and Della Olivia Boyer.
Hughetta was a long time member of the American Legion Post #0555 and the VFW Auxiliary Post 8112.
She enjoyed quiet time quilting and sharing her items with family and friends. She was an avid Hot Wheels and Precious Moments collector. Hughetta always cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, each of them held a very dear place in her heart
Visitation was held Thursday, July 10, 2003 from 4:30 to 9 P.M. and Friday, July 11, 2003 from 8:30 to 9:45 A.M. at the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at the St. James Catholic Church, 201 N. Missouri Ave., Potosi, Missouri Friday, July 11, 2003 at 10 A.M. with Father George Galovich officiating. Music for the mass was provided by Carolyn Rusnak, pianist, with vocals by Holly Gamble and Samantha Viviana. Serving as pallbearers were Hugh Scott Gamble, Tracy Minks, Clayton Boyer, David burns, Larry Wilson and Joey Bone.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 11, 2003 at the Red Bud Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 8 West, Potosi, Missouri at 11 A.M. with Father George Galovich.
Services were entrusted to the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
