Linda Kay James Smith, 63, of Jacksonville, TX formerly of Lake Dallas, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX.

She was born October 8, 1947 in Nocona, TX to H. B. and Jesse (Watson) James. She was a Graduate of Lewisville High School, and a member of the Corinth Road Church of Christ in Jacksonville, TX She was married to Lewis Don Smith on April 6, 1968 in Lewisville. She was a Homemaker.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Lake Dallas Church of Christ, with Bruce Ligon, officiating. Burial will follow in the Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,705 N. Locust Denton for visitation on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, TX 75701

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Lewis Don Smith, Jacksonville, daughter, Heather Hrebec of Palestine, TX son Jacson Smith and wife Nancy, and grandchildren Lane Smith and Kaylea Smith of US Army in Germany, sisters Modena Beasley of Knoxville, TN Sandra James of Jacksonville, a brother Sherrel James of Corsicana, numerous nieces and nephews
