Ben Jack Hobby
SYLVESTER, Ga. The funeral service of Ben Jack Hobby, 82, of Sylvester who died Saturday will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Red Oak Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
A native of Worth County, Mr. Hobby had lived in Worth County most of his life and in Camilla for the past three years. He was a member of the Red Oak Baptist Church and a widower of the late Myrtice Calhoun Hobby, who died March 16, 1990.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Morey and Marsha Senkbeil both of Sylvester and Joy Ann Summerford of Macon; one son Ronald B. Hobby of Blakey; a brother, Ralph Hobby of Valpariso, Fla.; two sisters, Curtie Belle Farmer and Joyce Bumgardner, both of Albany and seven grandchildren. Banks funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
