Mrs. Cornelia Coons, age 73 years, 3 months, and 19 days.
Grandma Coons was born in Ohio. The most of her life was spent in Wisconsin. She reared a large family, who are now living in different parts of the country, one of them at Eugene, Oregon, where she expected to visit her son in two or three days when she was taken sick. Grandma Coons died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.L. Davis.
The funeral services were held in the Christian church on the 4th of July, at 10:00 o'clock a.m. which were conducted by the pastor of that church, assisted by Elder Scamhorn.
Grandma Coons was a kind and affectionate mother, a good neighbor, and an earnest Christian worker.
