Austin W. Boyd passed away late Friday evening, May 21, 2010, at his Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 15 days.

Austin was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Bonne Terre, MO., & was the son of Arthur L. Boyd & Hattie Mae 'Waller' Boyd.

Also preceding-in-death were: 3 Sisters - Mary Boyd; Alberta Rokosky and Georgia Rawson. 5 Brothers: Alfred Boyd, in-infancy; Alvin Boyd; Roy Boyd; David Boyd & Leodell Boyd.

Austin was a longtime, faithful member of the Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from the Trimfoot Shoe Company.

Survivors Include: his wife, Audrey 'Pinkston' Boyd, of Farmington. 1 Son: Gerald L. "Jerry" (& Bonnie) Boyd, of Ballwin, MO. 2 Sisters-In-Law: Leola Babb, of Denver, CO & Joanne 'Mrs. Calvin' Milburn, of Bismarck, MO. 2 Grandchildren: Julia 'Mrs. Art' Bird, of Kansas & Matthew G. (& Laura) Boyd, of St. Louis. Also surviving are several Great-Grandchildren; Nieces; Nephews; other Relatives & Friends.

Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service.

Visitation resumes Wednesday 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service.

Visitation Wednesday 9:00 a.m. at Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral : Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., May 26, 2010 at Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff Babb & Rev. Roger Hogan officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Farmington.

Memorials may be made to: * The Farmington Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund.
