Calvin C. Carl, 92, died at home in Wilsey on Thursday, June 25.
He was born August 13,, 1871 in Crown Point, Indiana to Nathaniel & Mary Ann Carl who brought their 6 children to Onaga in 1885. "Cal" moved to Wilsey about 1920 and was employed at a Council Grove Mortuary until his retirement. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes, of Wilsey, sons Ryle and Clifford, and daughter Corrine, as well as his brother Colonel and sister Nell Carl Groomer, both of Onaga.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27, at Council Grove cemetery.
