Formerly of Ironton, MO, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2016 at the age of 90 years, one month, and two days. She was born February 21st, 1926 in Iron Mountain, MO to the late Edward and Olinda Ruh Weiss.
On July 23rd, 1945, Helen was united in marriage to Jesse Skaggs who survives; and to this union two children were born.
Helen is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jesse; a son, James Skaggs and wife Joyce of Ironton, four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Georgia Campbell, a son-in-law, Richard Campbell, and two brothers; Lawrence Weiss, and Clarence Weiss.
Helen worked for many years as a cook for Bismarck Schools, she was a faithful member of the Iron Mountain Assembly of God Church, she loved to spend time fishing, and loved and cared for her family as any loving mother would.
