Tub died June 8, 2006 in Lamb County. He was born July 28, 1942 in Muleshoe. He married Pat Davis in Lubbock on June 8, 1968.

Tub was a life-long resident of the Muleshoe community. He was a very loving and compassionate husband, father, and grandfather. Tub never met a stranger and was friends with everyone. He had a lively sense of humor that drew people to him. He had many interests among them including music, dancing, hunting and gun collecting. Tub loved farming and was a master welder. He was a veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mule-shoe. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ken in November of 2004.

Survivors include wife, Pat of Muleshoe; two sons, Col. (Ret.) Curtis Reynolds and his wife, Karen of Shalimar, FL, Gage Angeley and his wife, Kim of Shamrock, Tx.; three daughters, Krystal Bennett and her husband Bryan of Lubbock, Tiffany Boehning and her husband Brian of Muleshoe, and his baby girl, Misty Angeley of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren, Travis, Michael and Sam Reynolds, Tristan, Abigail and Addison Boehning, Morgan, Logan, Hagan and Bode Bennett, and Braxton Angeley; sister, Patsy Chancellor and her husband, Snuffy of Azle, Tx.; sister-in-law, Phyllis Angeley of Muleshoe; nephews, Michael and Ronnie Angeley; and niece, Gina Wilkerson.
