RYAN - Died at his residence in Clearfield township, on Tuesday, April 6, 1897, David RYAN, aged 82 years.
The deceased was born in Indiana County in August 20, 1815, but the greater part of his life was spent in Cambria County. In 1838 he settled in White township, from which he removed to Chest township. In 1867 he moved to Clearfield township, where he resided up to the time of his death. Deceased was well and favorably known to a large circle of friends and acquaintances to whom he was a true friend in the broadest sense of the word. Of a large family, but two sons, Silas A. of St. Augustine and D.C. of Pitcairn, Allegheny County, remain to mourn his loss. His bereaved survivors have the sympathy of all. May he rest in peace.
