Services for Marie Cotten Tillotson, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at First Baptist Church of Brookhaven with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Wednesday, from 2 until 3, at the church.

Mrs. Tillotson, 90, died April 24, 2006, at King's Daughters Medical Center.


She was born in Franklin County on Aug. 12, 1915, to Otis Cotten and Rosa McManus Cotten.

She was a housewife. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wesley Tillotson; her brothers, Gerod Cotten, Atwood Cotten, Bernard Cotten and Jerry Cotten; and her sister, Patsy Jones.

Survivors are her daughter, Nancy Evans, of Brookhaven; her brother, James Cotten, of Natchez; and her grandchildren, Laura and Stephen Evans.
