Harrington, secretary of the Crane-O'Fallon company of Denver and a brother of James, received a long-distance telephone call from Mrs. James Harrington at Detroit, shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday, notifying him of the tragedy. But Mrs. Harrington, at the time, did not know the details.
Harrington was born at North Platte, Neb. He was the son of the late Maj. Michael C. Harrington. He was a graduate of Regis college of Denver and of Creighton college of Omaha, Neb. He left Denver ten years ago and was connected with the Fox Paper company of Detroit.
Besides his wife and brothers, Clarence and C. Paul, he is survived by a brother, M.J. of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kennedy of Denver and Mrs. Frances Williams of Monterey, Mexico.
