Funeral services for a 58-year-old Borger woman who died Monday in Northwest Texas Hospital are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Keeler Heights Assembly of God.
Dead is Mrs. Bertha Jo Brooks, 528 Mississippi. She was born Feb. 28, 1905, in Bridgeport, Okla.
James Farmer, minister of the church will officiate with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo under the direction of N.S. Griggs and Son's, in Amarillo.
She is survived by her husband, Vern R. Brooks; one son, Roy, Amarillo, and two daughters, Mrs. M.L. Vansants, Borger and Mrs. C.M. Rice, Amarillo.
Other survivors include three brothers, Garland Sprouse, Lawton, Okla.; J.L. Sprouse, Galene, Missouri and H.V. Sprouse, Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Wallace and Mrs. Buck James, both of Lawton, Okla.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Casket bearers are J.R. Woodruff, E.A. Estes, T.E. Simmons, S.W. Fleming, Don Conner and A.L. Maples.
