Private burial services will be at Mount Olivet. Harrington, of 777 S. Adams St., died Wednesday in Colorado General Hospital.
Harrington, a Denver resident nearly 70 years, was born in Iliff, Colo. He lived in North Platte, Neb., until 1900 when he moved to Denver to attend Sacred Heart School, now Regis College.
He married Miss Margaret C. O'Fallon in 1914.
Harrington was in the hay and grain business several years and in 1923 joined the M. J. O'Fallon Supply co., which upon association with Crane Co of Chicago, became known as Crane O'Fallon Co. He was associated with Crane O'Fallon for 34 years, becoming district manager. In 1947, he became president of Crane O'Fallon Co., composed of 15 branches in seven Western states.
He retired in 1957 from Crane O'Fallon, which had become a division of Crane Co in 1951. Following retirement, he managed the Martin J. and Mary A. O'Fallon Trust as senior trustee.
Harrington was a member of the Denver Country Club, the Rotary Club of Denver, the Knights of Columbus, the Denver Athletic Club, and life member of the Elks.
Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Francis J. Purcell, Hartsdale, NY; Mrs. William D. P. Carey, Jr., Denver, and Miss Patricia J. Harrington, Denver; a son, Martin J. Harrington, Denver; a brother, C. Paul Harrington, Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Frank J. Kennedy, Denver, and Mrs. Frances William, Monterrey, Mexico, and nine grandchildren.
