DELAVAN—Mrs. Mable Cummings, 84, died Monday in the
Darien Rest Home where she had been a patient three years.
She was the widow of Henry Cummings, a former Chicago police
officer, and a resident of Delavan since 1936. She was a
member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Eugene, of Delavan, and Grant, of
Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Venere Lunn, Orlando, Fla.; seven
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister,
Mrs. Olive Pezolt, Chicago.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's
Church, the Rev. Don Zerkel officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may
call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Betzer Funeral Home
where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
