Married (2nd) (Jerusha) or (Jeriah) Bonham,25 Oct 1873 in Jackson Co., IL. They were divorced in Feb 1877 in Jackson Co. In all of the death reports for Jeriah, his marriage to Catherine is not even mentioned.
The mistake in his first name spelling most likely due to misspellings in the court marriage information and the report in the death certificate of Ernest Bonham (a son) by Ernest's 2nd wife. Jeriah was a prominent agricultural and historical journalist in Illinois and in his published book on prominent Illinoisans his name is spelled: Jeriah Bonham.
