GARLITZ
James G. Garlitz, 74, Greensburg RD 2, died Thursday morning in his home. Born in Garrett County, Md., January 3, 1890, a son of the late James and Rachel Godfelty Garlitz, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie in 1961. He was manager of a company store (Madison area) operated by Keystone Coal and Coke Co., which later became Superior Merchantile Co. He was a member of F&AM Lodge 225, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Lodge 77 and Syria Temple of Pittsburgh. Surviving are two brothers, Frank, Coraganville, Md.; William, Salisbury; as sister, Harriet Garlitz, Salisburg. A number of nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at Henry S. Coshey Funeral Home, Greensburg, 3-5, 7-9. Services will be held there Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Franklin Hallman officiating.
