Mrs. Ruth Norman

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells for Mrs. Ruth Adams Norman, age 60, of Savoy.

Mrs. Norman died early Sunday in a Savoy Nursing Home.

Officiating at the services was Rev. Jimmy Sloan, Baptist minister of Savoy, assisted by Rev. Gene Welborn, Baptist minister of Princeton. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery at Savoy.

Mrs. Norman was born December 29, 1910, at Clayton, Okla., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Hicks. She was married to Joe Norman in 1960, who survives her at the home in Savoy.

Other survivors include two sons, Alfred Milner of Bells and Jimmy Adams of Princeton; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Anderson and Mrs. Neil Price of Savoy and Mrs. James Capehart of Leonard; one brother, Bob Hicks of Bonham, and six sisters, Mrs. Lillie Simmons, Mrs. Jane Wilson and Mrs. Myrtle White, all of Houston, Mrs. Ruby Rivers of Randolph, Mrs. Florence Hollenbeck of Dallas and Mrs. Eunice Adams of Plainview.

There are 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Norman was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
