Dorothy Mae Firlein, 85, of Rutledge, a devoted family woman, died May 17 at The Wallingford Health & Rehabilitation Center in Nether Providence.

Born in Scotland County, N.C., Mrs. Firlein was a resident of Rutledge for the last 18 month, coming from Prospect Park, where she made her home for 36 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her extensive family.

She was the widow of Ernest H. Firlein Jr. who died in 1999, the daughter of the late Gaston and Mattie Tyner, and the grandmother of the late Athena Collison.

Survivors: Sons, John W. Collison of Broken Arrow, Okla., Paul Firlein of Upper Chichester; daughter, Sandra S. Goetsch of Rutledge; brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Service: Graveside, 11 a.m. Thursday, Glenwood Memorial Gardens, West Chester Pike, Marple. Burial following.

Contributions: The Wallingford Health & Rehabilitation Center, 115 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086.

Arrangements: Griffith Funeral Chapel, Norwood.
