Elizabeth, wife of Fred Fonda, died October 10, at the home in L. E. Parsons tenant house. She was the daughter of Lot Leigh and Frances Hardwick, born in Somerset, England, September 9, 1876 and was married at Amsterdam on October 7, 1900. Ill some three years past with heart and liver trouble, Dr. Weldman attended. Survivors are husband, one son, Theodore, three sisters; five brothers; her mother, Mrs. Fannie Brown. Funeral was held October 13, Rev. W. E. Cook of St. John's Episcopal Church, Marcellus officiating, of which church she was a communicant and interment was made in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles, Johns and Son had charge. The photo is taken where it is believed that Fred and Elizabeth Fonda were buried. They are listed as being buried in Sec 10, Number 351. However, that section could not be located. The unmarked plot in the photo of is of Section 10, Number 351A; usually an "A" number is next to the primary section. There is a Fanny Brown in Section 10, Number 356, which is in the general area.
