Aunt Sophia, (Everyone called her that), was such a big part of my life. She is my mom's sister (Evelen Jarecki Klaczkiewicz) and lived with us over the years of my childhood. She was the one that all the kids loved. She took care of every child she could. Extremely loving and all the kids just surrounded her because she would sit down all the time and play with them. Aunt Sophia was always there for me. Loving me. Taking time with me. When I had my kids, they also were in her care until she died of cancer. I picture her in heaven in charge of every child that did not have love here on earth. She would be just loving that.
She never married or had her own kids.
She was the daughter of Walter and Victoria(Wozniak) Jarecki.
Sister to Gladys(Fruk), Evelyn (Klaczkiewicz), Marion(Root), Edward,Joseph, Max Jarecki.
I believe she was born here in the USA but just shortly after her parents came from poland.
She is missed greatly by me, her niece (Vickie Klaczkiewicz Newman) and many, many other family members.
She was a very, very special person in my life and I am so glad that she was my "Aunt Sophia"
