Dave was born in Oct. 5 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. Died in March 15,1999 in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 49 of a brain tumor.
Son of Andrew(died in 2000) and Evelyn (Jarecki) Klaczkiewicz (died in 2001) 9 months apart.
Brother to Michael, Richard Klaczkiewicz and Vickie (Newman) Klaczkiewicz. Also twin sisters Diane and Donna that were born Sept. 7, 1946 and died Sept. 10, 1946.
He married Rita Kay Kousowski in 1968. She died Oct. 4, 1997. They had 2 children. Andrew and Charlene (Aldrich)Klaczkiewicz.
Rita died in 1997 of lymphoma, age 49, just 14 months prior to Dave's death.

Dave studied to be a priest at the age of 13-14 before deciding that his life was drawn another way. He went to Holy Rosary grade school and St. Andrew high school of Saginaw, Michigan. He also graduated from college right after that. He served in the air force in Colorado and became a teacher there during that time in the air force. He also was an accomplished singer and accordian player and played in Michigan and Colorado. Playing at weddings, bars, events and even in Frankenmuth, Michigan at the festivals.
He was a great brother and friend and was always there for us in our home as cook, cleaner and support as my mother was very sick with a heart condition when we were young. He took us fishing, to the beach, up to the mountians in Colorado and was so giving all his life. His first love was for God and he was a very spirit filled man. Sharing his love of Christ with everyone.
I miss his presence everyday and always wonder why he and Rita (his wife) were taken so soon from this life. He was and is still my inspiration and when my own daughter, Celena died in 2003, I asked him to help take care of her in heaven until I see them again.
I know heaven is full of polka music with the help of my dad and my brother. They are leading one of the heavenly choirs.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again."
