Services for Wayne C. Jones, 80, of 594 Moull St., will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Dudgeon and the Rev. Robert Kidwell officiating. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.
Mr. Jones died Saturday morning in his home. He was born July 3, 1907, in Mary Ann Township to the late Amzie and Myrtle (Divan) Jones.
He was a lifetime area resident and worked as a transport driver for Pure Oil Co., for 22 years - retiring in 1962. He was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ, and ACME Lodge 554, Free and Accepted Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Isabell (Larason) Jones, a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Edmister of St. Louisville; a son, Ronald Lee Jones of Newark, a brother, Lowell Jones of Newark, four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A brother, Lowell Jones of Newark, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Masonic services will be held at 6:45 p.m. today in the funeral home.
