Mrs. Florence Wyant, 70, of 1319 Burrell Ave., New Kensington, died at 12:30 a.m. today in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington following a short illness. Mrs. Wyant, a resident of New Kensington since 1923, was a member of the Parnassus Presbyterian Church of that town. Born in Armstrong County December 23, 1900, she was a daughter of the late John and Lula (Wolf) Richey. Surviving are her husband, David R. Wyant; a son Robert, and two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Madelyn) Bartholf and Mrs. Robert (Edna) Shalkoski, all of New Kensington; a brother, Jay Richey of Leechburg; and five sisters, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Finnecy, Mrs. Theodore (Marguerite) Shaub, and Mrs. Daniel (Evelyn) Wyant, all of New Kensington, Mrs. Frank (Jean) Fink of Lower Burrell, and Mrs. Sara Clawson of Tarentum; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. WYANT - Friends of Mr. Florence Wyant, who died August 7, 1971, are being received after 7 p.m. this evening at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. John C. Mahler. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Arrangements by Walker.
