SAN JOSE, Calif. — Gladys "Dee" Forbes, 95, originally of Somersworth, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Villa Margarita Senior Care, San Jose, Calif.

Dee was born in Dearborn, Mo., Oct. 16, 1914, and was the daughter of Lucian and Ethyl Davis. Dee lived in Los Angeles, Calif., where she met and married her late husband, George, in Las Vegas, Nev., and settled in Somersworth, N.H. in the mid 1950s.

Dee worked as a secretary for many years for Thompson Center Arms, Rochester, N.H., and would be remembered as "Poopsie" the piano player for the "Hager Dance Studio, Dover, N.H. Dee loved her "Antiques" and playing the piano for the "Hager Dance Studio" which was nearest and dearest to her heart.

She can always be remembered as the sister of the late "Jim Davis" actor, who starred as "Jock Ewing" in the long time prime time soap "Dallas."

Dee was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Bowlby and her oldest daughter, Linda Jo Desroches of Kittery Point, Maine.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Janet Lara and son-in-law, Jeffrey, both of San Jose, and Prescott, Ariz., and granddaughter, Jamie Dee Frontiero of Newburyport, Mass., an accomplished expert equestrian and horse trainer and husband, Salvatore Frontiero.
