Neil D. Davis, 75, of Dowling passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 14, 1934 in Bellevue, the son of Merle W. and Ora (Johnson) Davis. He married Marie E. (Hawthorne) Davis on June 4, 1954 in Battle Creek. Neil loved spending time with his family and dog Bowser.
He is survived by his wife; children, Eugene (Bonnie) Davis, Rodney (Diana) Davis, Dawn (Dan) Kucerak, Julie (Dale) Schrader, Tammi (Scott) Horn; brothers, Milburn Davis, Marvin (Bernadette) Davis; sisters, Jean (Bob) Ashdon, Janet (Floyd) Fender; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Roger Davis; brothers, Don and Darrel Davis; sister, Nancy Wallace.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 A.M. at the Pleasantview Family Church with Pastor Steven S. Olmstead officiating. Burial will be at the Ellis Cemetery in Assyria Township, MI.
