Kenneth Dewey Miller, 57, of Southport died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Wilmington.

Mr. Miller was born July 28, 1952, son of James Carl Miller and Audrey Jousiffe Miller. He was a master carpenter and a Harley enthusiast.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Johnny Miller.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey J. Miller of Southport; his wife, Terry Miller of Southport; children Kimberly Camp, Kenneth Camp, Steven Steele, Joseph Steele, Heather Miller and Stacey Miller a brother, Jeffrey Miller of Southport; a sister, Lynn Miller Martin of Bolivia; five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Service, Southport, with the Rev. Charles Drew officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
