Burial location source: Ms. Tom, Librarian/Archivist, Windsor Historical Society, Windsor, CT, 12 Nov 2015 ~ "Palisado Cemetery was the only cemetery that people were using during that time period. As both she and her husband Jonathan Gillett died in Windsor by the 1690s, it’s very likely that they were buried in the Palisado Cemetery. Unfortunately, however, many of the early gravestones and markers were made of materials that did not withstand the effects of time, and only a few have lasted through to now. So even though there are no actual headstones for either Mary or Jonathan Gillett, Palisado Cemetery is still the most likely place they were buried."
