Miss Harriett Shaffer died Friday evening at her home on Maple Street from the result of a stroke sustained two weeks previous.
She is survived by a sister, Annie and a brother, L.S. Shaffer of Clyde, PA.

Funeral services were held Sabbath afternoon, and the body was taken to Brushvalley on Monday for interment in the Lutheran graveyard.
